Adam D. Peterson

Executive Managing Director

Mr. Peterson brings extensive real estate and capital markets experience in senior management, roles including Chief Financial Officer at Asset Real Estate and Investment Corporation, a syndicator of equity and debt instruments to both institutional and individual, accredited investors, Chief Financial Officer for Ambassador Apartments, Inc. (NYSE: “AAH”), a multi-family apartment REIT focusing on affordable housing, and Founding Principal at Atlas Financial Corporation, a structured credit firm specializing in the securitization of tax-exempt housing bonds. Mr. Peterson holds a B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Management.

Christopher Trifilio

Underwriting and Administration

Mr. Trifilio spent 16 years primarily trading, researching, and selling convertible securities to institutional clients and wealthy individuals.  Headed up the Convertible Securities Department at William Blair & Company and became one of the youngest Principals in their history at age 29.  Nominated on behalf of the firm for Crain’s Chicago’s “30 Under 30.”  He moved to Mesirow Financial as a Senior VP of Convertible Securities and Shareholder.  Among many firsts at Mesirow, he funded a manufactured housing fund start-up.  He then joined HAS Capital as a General Partner Investor and Managing Director of Investment Management.  Over a two-year period, he received capital commitments of approximately $100mm from family offices, money managers, and institutional. Earned an MBA with a concentration in Financial Analysis from DePaul University and a BA in Finance and Accounting from Benedictine University.
